Contract in the northwest: “Cloud Signing” of Zhongke Electric’s integration project of 100000t/a anode material for lithium battery

On October 27, 2022, Hunan Zhongke Electric Co., Ltd. and Lanzhou New Area held an online signing ceremony for the integration project of 100000 t/a anode material for lithium battery. The successful signing of this project was of great significance for the company to improve the capacity of anode materials and the industrial layout.

Yang Jianzhong, member of the Standing Committee of Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Lanzhou New Area, attended the ceremony and witnessed the signing. Yu Xin, chairman of Zhongke Electric, Cao Wenyu, deputy general manager of the second business unit of BYD Findreams Battery, and Li Dongxin, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of Lanzhou New Area delivered speeches respectively. Zhang Aisheng, deputy director of the Management Committee of the New Area, and Zhang Bin, deputy general manager of Hunan Zhongke Electric Co., Ltd. signed online contracts on behalf of their parties. Niu Chengzhe, deputy director of the New Area Management Committee, presided over the signing ceremony.

At the ceremony, Yu Xin, the chairman of Zhongke Electric, made a speech first. She indicated that the signing of the project of an integrated production base for lithium battery anode materials with an annual output of 100000 tons would help the company deepen its cooperation with outstanding customers in the industry chain, which was the need of the development strategies of both sides, and also reflected BYD’s full trust in the company. In the future, the company will focus on resources, and develop widely to build Zhongke Electric into a global leading enterprise of lithium battery anode material with the most comprehensive layout, the deepest integration, and the leading lithium battery anode industry chain. The company will also continue to strengthen cooperation and exchange with Lanzhou New Area, hoping that the project construction can help Lanzhou New Area optimize and improve the industrial layout.

Cao Wenyu, the deputy general manager of the second business unit of FinDreams Battery, expressed congratulations on the successful signing of the project in his speech. He said that BYD would give full play to its new energy technology and industrial advantages to drive enterprise agglomeration and industrial clusters and attract more upstream and downstream industrial chains to develop in Lanzhou, accelerating its development of the whole industrial chain of new energy vehicles in Lanzhou .

Li Dongxin, the director of the New Area Management Committee, said in his speech that Lanzhou New Area had set up a special working class on project promotion, and would spare no effort to provide the best policy support, government service, and investment environment for project construction, fully supporting the early commencement of the project and effective production, hoping that the project can be accelerated to complete as soon as possible, and bring benefits into play as soon as possible to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Subsequently, the two parties signed a contract on the project of the integration of the annual output of 100000 tons of anode materials for lithium battery of Zhongke Electric.

At last, on behalf of Lanzhou New Area, secretary Yang Jianzhong expressed the support and expectation for the project. With secretary Yang’s blessing on the project, the online signing ceremony ended successfully.
