On August 31, 2022, the commencement ceremony of Zhongke Electric’s powder processing base project of 100000 t/a anode material for lithium battery was held in Wangjiang County, An’qing, Anhui Province. The successful holding of this commencement ceremony marks that the company will further expand its production scale to improve the supply capacity of anode materials, and it is also a strategic milestone in the industrial layout of the company’s new energy materials business department, which will enhance the company’s comprehensive competitiveness in an all-round way.
Li Mulin, deputy secretary of the county party committee and head of the county, attended the commencement ceremony and announced the commencement of the project. He pointed out that the successful commencement of the project could not be separated from the joint efforts of all the people present. In the future, the project will also be completed with the fastest speed and the highest quality under the strong leadership and care and support of the governments at all levels of Anqing City and Wangjiang County, and strive to become a demonstration production base of new materials in Wangjiang County Economic Development Zone.

After the ceremony, municipal and county chiefs and enterprise guests also visited the milling production line of anode material.
Zhongke Electric’s powder processing base project of 100000 t/a anode material for lithium battery covers an area of 158 mu, with a total investment of 510 million yuan. Focusing on the industrial chain of “petroleum coke-lithium battery anode material”, the project will make full use of the high-quality petroleum coke resources of Anqing Petrochemical by integrating the accumulation of Anqing Petrochemical refining and chemical industry with the accumulation of new energy lithium battery anode material industry of Zhongke Electric to build a green petrochemical and new energy lithium battery anode material industry cluster in Wangjiang County. This project is a key investment attraction project of Wangjiang County, which strives to build a demonstration production base for new materials in Wangjiang Economic Development Zone to boost the rapid development of local economy, with significant economic and social benefits.
