From August 30 to September 1, 2022, the 9th 2022 ABEC, Advanced Batteries xEV/ESS Conference of Battery “Davos” and the 11th 2022 China Battery Industry Annual Person/Annual Innovation Award/Excellent Supplier Award Ceremony were held in Dongguan, Guangdong. On August 31, at the summit meeting, with the topic of “How to ensure the safety and stability of the supply chain when the price of raw materials fluctuates?”, Dr. Wang Zhiyong, dean and deputy general manager of the Institute, was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech entitled Development Progress of Fast Charging Graphite Anode for Lithium-ion Battery, sharing the cutting-edge information such as the development status of anode materials, technical characteristics of fast charging graphite, design and key technologies of fast charging anode. As for the development direction of the next generation anode material technology, Dr. Wang introduced that it was mainly in the four directions of high specific energy, fast charging, long battery life and high cost-effectiveness.
